CHRIS BRADSHAW New Artist Joining Us

We are pleased to announce we have a new artist joining us

CHRIS BRADSHAW

Chris started producing while doing a chemistry degree at Bristol University.
”I got heavily into the dnb scene with Bristol being the home of the movement it was not difficult... after DJ’ing and promoting at events in the area and hanging out with Mulder
(of urban takeover fame) I started producing dnb around 2001”

After 7 years of producing Drum and Bass under the name "Kris Phoenix" he switched to Breakbeats.
“A highly tormented personality i withdrew entirely from the scene externally as could not bear the self annihilation from remaining around it; and produced in a semi- insulated environment.”
“At the end of my tether and a perceived failure I lowered my tempo in August 2008. This however has provided the freedom of creativity I have been searching for; the demo to yourselves (ABR) was only my second attempt at breaks production…”

Outside music, Chris takes a keen interest in Literature, Philosophy and Psychology and has amassed degrees in Business Admin as well as Law.

“Im heavily influenced in life by Carl Jung, Bertrand Russell, and the Austrian school of philosophy... i do love good wit though and collect first editions of Jerome K Jerome, Saki and later copies from Gogol and other prominent Russian novelists.”

Chris is releasing a 4 track ep with us

GHETTO MULLET Review

Ghetto Mullet have recieved another great review for their ep UNEARTHLY HOURS

From online web Magazine MonkeyBoxing.com check it out below or copy and paste the link

www.monkeyboxing.com/content/ghetto-mullet-unearthly-hours-ep-–-2009-–-review

Unearthly Hours finds the band with one of the filthiest names in music end up where I suspect they might have been heading from the start. To put it another way - if last EP Sunday Morning Hangover saw instrumental hip-hop flirting with techno, this time around it gets its comeuppance with techno giving hip-hop rather more than a come-on. Where are we? That’s right - Warp Records territory. The beats might still be syncopated but they clank, buzz, and stutter like androids in a jacuzzi. As the title would suggest, Unearthly Hours is the sound of a party at five in the morning where the front room’s full of empty fast food cartons, a motionless haze of waist-level blue smoke and someone with dreadlocks has fallen asleep while trying to roll a spliff. It’s very accomplished, if that’s how your ears get off, and should probably be the soundtrack to some low budget US indie flick. Preferably one shot in grainy black and white about a paranoid Phd student who inadvertently discovers how to rig the US stock market via the internet but can’t cash-out because every time he thinks about turning on his computer he knows they’re watching him. Or something.

PER BONFILS New artist joining us

We are very pleased to have a new artist joining us

PER BONFILS

At the beginning of the 90´s, inspired by sci-fi movies and a collection of art-music, Per Bonfils bought his first sampler.
From his small apartment he conjured space-out soundscapes whilst annoying the neighbours with endless sound & bleeps.
Along with the breakbeat wave Per Bonfils evolved while producing a different sound and formed the band E:T:A

E:T:A forged the soundbarrier in the summer of ´97 with the single “Casual Sub”. This single was a hit worldwide with a no. 1 on the U.K. dancechart.
In 2000 E:T:A released the album “No smoking” along with the Danish producer Kenneth Bager.
E:T:A exsisted until 2003, where Per Bonfils decided to go solo and start his own record label Faberge Grammofon.

In 2005 Per Bonfils released his first solo album “Exotic Fruits”. A taste of Scandinavian easy listening, house & space music. This album received 5 star reviews from the press.
Alongside his music, Per Bonfils has worked on short films and art movies, but as he is saying ;
“I´m always working on the next album”.

He will be releasing a 3 track ep with us
